The 12 Tech Days of Christmas (9-12)

Intro

For LegetteTech’s third installment in the 12 Tech Days of Christmas comes some recommendations straight from the top. Owner Wade Legette weighs in on the technology that he loves.

Samsung Ultra Short Throw Projector

Unlike the projectors used in work, schools, or media rooms, which are mounted to a ceiling permanently, Samsung’s Short Throw Projector can sit on a table, within inches of the wall. This projector allows for 4K resolution, projected anywhere from 90 to 120 inches measured diagonally. While the largest flat panel TVs are about 84 inches, this projector allows for an even larger viewing experience. This unit weighs in at a costly $3,499, but other models can be obtained for less money, and prices should decrease as this format becomes more popular.

Tapplock

Tapplock, the first biometric padlock. It’s especially useful for those who cannot remember combinations or have a hard time operating and opening a regular lock. Convenience and ease of use makes this our favorite lock at LegetteTech. By storing our three different fingerprints, either Sindi, Lee or I can access our storage room of supplies in an instant. The Tapplock one+ is the larger lock for larger security needs like our storage. The Tapplock lite is more useful for smaller projects, like children’s bikes.

FlightScope Golf Launch Monitor

For the golfer on your list who has taken lessons with a Professional Teacher and used the PGA approved Trackman system ($25,000). The FlightScope allows your golfer to capture the same stats—club speed, ball MPH, carry distance, launch angle, and spin rate—in a portable format and for only $499.00. Rated with 4.3 out of 5 stars on Amazon, this is a go-to device for the golf enthusiast looking to improve their game.

Apple Airtag

Apple did not start the category of an easy-to-use tracker, Tile did. But Apple has tried to copy Tile’s best features, while adding their own. Add an Apple Airtag to your car keys, child’s backpack, dog’s collar, the choices are almost endless. When you have left something behind, the network of hundreds of million iPhones, iPad and Mac devices can help find your item.
